Mission Statement

A unique piece of technology that many enthusiasts purchased, the Raspberry Pi is a miniature computer that you can hold with one hand. Released in 2012, it gained a substantial following as many people purchased one of the types of Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately for the Pi, its following died down as many people found that they didn’t have something to do with it. Six years later, many of these tiny bits of technology have languished in garages, boxes, or on shelves. They have gathered dust when they could have been put to use. “But how?” Their owners might ask. We have come to answer that question. The Half-Baked Pi is a blog dedicated to educating the owners and potential owners about how they can use a Raspberry Pi for fun and profit. There are numerous ways that the Pi can be to automate simple functions--such as activating a garage door opener, or creating a computerized calendar.
